It has been a remarkable journey for me over last 10 years at Compunnel and I feel like I just started. Compunnel's culture and its people practices allow for its employees to think creatively about their careers, to do tasks that they are passionate about, and the company gives its employees several opportunities for growth.
I recall my first role in the sales organization as a manager for government sales in India and then I was asked to lead a sales team for the UK market selling digital products.
Soon, my role expanded to managing Europe and then to the US in the same line of business. Now I was managing sales, marketing, delivery, customer service and P&L of a line of business. I am now the President of a division/line of business and I lead a very talented and creative team of smart individuals. I would encourage you to not get drawn or influenced with positions, roles and titles while they could be important to some of us but in our company what is more important is the merit of our thoughts and actions.
Product Delivery Head
I have been with InfoPro for 13 years and never had a reason or chance to look back. I went through various roles and functions beginning as a Programmer in 2003 to working as a Product Delivery Head (current position). Needless to say, these 13 years have been full of interesting phases and challenges that I did not only enjoy, but also helped be grow as a person and a professional.
My passion has been product development, automation and analysing business problems to help customers overcome challenges and I would like to continue growing in a direction where I can directly influence our people and revenue flow.
What makes InfoPro a great place to work is how close I feel personally to everyone here, all the way from the team members on the floor to the top management.

My journey with Compunnel started way back in 2006. In the 7 years of professional experience I had before joining Compunnel, I had worked with companies both bigger and smaller like NIIT, ISHIR and others. While, all the companies gave me a rich work experience, I wasn’t very sure of my core strengths as a sales professional. As a part of my start in Compunnel, I was entrusted with the responsibility of driving channel sales for US division. Their trust helped me to take up the challenge and develop a sense of great responsibility. As I started working, I was allowed my share of mistakes and I learned from them fast. It is said that an environment that allows you to do mistakes and learn from them is the most conducive environment and that's the biggest take away for me.
The biggest thing that I achieved in the last 9 years is realizing my true potential and capabilities. When I reflect back, I realize that I ended up achieving goals and excelling in roles that I never thought exist for me. Of course, I was lucky to be guided by great mentors and constantly groomed in the role.
From being just a sales person and being happy about it, I am gradually transforming towards becoming a sales leader and still wanting more.

When I joined Compunnel over five years ago, I knew I was stepping away from my comfort zone to take on an overseas assignment. I started the engagement with hope and expectation of expanding opportunities in the coming years. Today when I look back, I rejoice in the satisfying journey from being a Sr. Instructional Analyst to a Program Manager. A focused approach and a zeal to excel helped me work through a wide variety of projects, situations, and clients. Saying yes to every challenging opportunity that I was given to me kept me engaged, willing, and allowed me to prove my potential each time.
With a freedom to express new ideas, discuss strategies, and amenably work with peers & seniors, and my willingness to challenge myself with every new assignment helped me carve my growth path.

Lead-Instructional Designer
Talk about destiny. A confused science graduate gets a job to copy edit physics journals, takes a short course on Instructional Design by fluke, and receives a job offer from a well-known company in the Learning and Development industry. That's how it all started. I joined InfoPro in August 2010 as a trainee ID. Shortly after the training period, InfoPro trusted me enough to offer several projects to lead and conduct onsite workshops. The start had me sailing through the rough waters, but I can't stress enough that I had a lot of support from my mentor. He handheld me through the hurdles and taught me to face challenges with poise. With his guidance, I am proud to be one of youngest CPLPs in the world. In InfoPro, I feel that my work has always been appreciated-never overlooked. InfoPro still continues to provide me a good standing in the industry and with opportunities that help me bring out the best in me.

I joined Compunnel in 2005 as a Technical Lead with a professional background in application and Web development, and an educational background in business and IT. With my strong background in Web development I have started working for creating Innovative solutions and improving time to market for clients. There has been tremendous opportunity for me to make a difference. Under the guidance of my supervisors and principles of company, I have learned and improved my skills in various technology and business side of it. In no time I have started handling some of the key clients. Compunnel fostered my potential and provided me the inspiration to do better at the same time confidence to absorb failures. It has given me enough confidence, strength and space required to be successful. I would like to continue growing in a direction where I can directly influence our people and revenue flow.
Director-Marketing
I joined Compunnel as a cold calling agent with RiaEnjolie, because of a promise made by the person that hired me, Sriraj Mallick. I was looking for a marketing position at the time, but Sriraj told me if I put in honest, hard work, and delivered positive results, he would find a role for me in Marketing. At RiaEnjolie, I worked diligently and found early success, but Sriraj quickly realized I was a better fit for a sales management role, working with an Inside Sales team and selling corporate solutions to Compunnel customers. He was right. Although this was a big transition for me, I was mentored, coached, and motivated along the way, to eventually become one of the top performing sales managers in the company. I was fearful that my success at sales would make it hard for the company let me step into a Marketing position, but Sriraj promoted me to Director of Marketing when a position opened up, fulfilling the promise he made to me less than 5 years ago.

I joined Compunnel in Feb 2002 as my first company and I could not have imagined just how good of an opportunity I was walking into. My job here has groomed me both personally and professionally. It has made me realize the potential I have to grow and provided the opportunities to do so. I am empowered to perform at my best and deliver excellent output every day. Compunnel values hard work (there is no substitute for hard work), a can do spirit, a positive attitude. These values keep me going and guide the entire organization. All this, coupled with Compunnel's success, makes this the perfect place to work!

Thank you very much for this opportunity to reflect on my journey in InfoPro/Compunnel. This past January, I completed 14 years in this company... phew!!!
Lot of learning... and more learning... Starting as a project manager for a software project (success!!), developing a recruitment portal for India (which, never saw the daylight, thanks to the recession of 2001-2002), leading the quality processes and getting us ISO certification (one of the most satisfying tasks completed at InfoPro), giving a facelift to TeachMeIT.com (which had to be shelved, ultimately) and leading the technology team for Learning (successfully working with a variety of platforms and creating some unique, reusable frameworks), managing NETg project (first multi-year contract for the company), which was a love-hate relationship, and then creating the Pre-sales and Solutions team, something very different from other companies, then involving myself in sales and failing in it miserably, and leading the Key Account Management strategy successfully. Looking back at my failures and successes, it's been very eventful but here is what I take away from these years:
At Compunnel, we believe the real energy and fuel behind a company's growth comes from its people. Compunnel not only creates and gives opportunities for growth to its employees, it also helps them become better leaders. There are many inspiring examples where our employees have taken up opportunities and advanced in their career by leaps and bounds.
